This FAQ gives you the essentials about dates, sessions, speakers, and the practical side of attending Techorama. It’s the quickest way to understand how the event works and what you can expect once you’re on-site. You’ll find guidance on topics like planning your schedule, navigating the venue, and getting the most out of the talks.

Where does the conference take place?

Techorama takes place at Kinepolis/Jaarbeurs Utrecht. The venue offers large cinema rooms with excellent AV for an immersive experience.

What are the conference dates?

The conference runs for three days. Day 1 (October 26) features workshops (Van der Valk hotel Utrecht); conference days 2 & 3 (October 27-28) feature breakout sessions across multiple tracks.

Can I transfer or refund my ticket?

Please read the full ticket terms and conditions. Tickets can always be transferred to a colleague without any cost.

Will sessions be recorded?

Most sessions are recorded (with permission of speaker). Recordings will be made available to attendees via Techorama TV after the event. Make sure to buy a ticket where the recordings are included.

Do you provide vegetarian/vegan or allergy-friendly meals?

Yes. We provide vegetarian and vegan options, and can accommodate common allergies. Please contact us a couple of weeks before the event to inform us about your allergies.

Is there a code of conduct?

Yes. We expect all participants to follow our Code of Conduct. Harassment or disrespectful behavior is not tolerated.

How do I get to the venue?

The venue is reachable by public transport and car. Recommended parking is available at Jaarbeurs P4; we encourage public transport when possible. Full details about the venue can be found here.

What is the language of the talks?

All sessions are delivered in English.

When will the agenda be published?

We publish the first agenda draft several months before the event and continue to update it as speakers are confirmed.

Do I need to bring a laptop for workshops?

For hands-on workshops, yes. Check the workshop description for prerequisites and any software to install beforehand.

Where can I find my Techorama invoice?

When you buy a Techorama ticket, your invoice is available directly via the pretix ticket platform. You can download it at any time from your pretix order overview.

Techorama invoices are issued by Code & Coffee BV.
